Miss World 2011 will be on November in UK

Now that most beauty queens in the country are almost treated as a hero specially when they had good placements, most of them enjoys cheap holidays abroad as well.

Miss World 2011 Pageant will be on November 6, 2011 in London at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre. But still there are no updates and announcements about what channel and media will broadcast live its pageant. Besides, many countries were been interested to join namely Kyrgyzstan and St. Barts were finally joined for the very first time.

Miss World 2011 is actually the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place towards the end of 2011 which will exactly fall on the month on November. Alexandria Mills of the United States of America is the current winner of one of the most coveted crown in the world. And at the end of the event she will crown her.

Another story about this year’s Miss World is on the country Philippines. The Philippines will going to have their very first Miss World Philippines beauty pageant that will going to select the deserving candidates to compete in the Miss World 2011 in London. Madame Cory Quirino; a lady of beauty is the president of the Miss World Philippines.

And last Sunday, September 18, 2011 Gwendolyn Ruais is the newly crowned Miss World Philippines. She will represent the Philippines to the upcoming Miss World 2011 in London. And she is one of those Filipina woman aims to become the 1st Filipina to win Miss World this November in London. Gwendolyn is half Filipino half French and is also an International Runway model. Shes 5’11 tall, and she wants to be the first Miss World from the Philippines. The closest the country has ever gotten to the crown was in 1966 when Evangeline Pascual won first runner-up, and in 1993 when Ruffa Gutierrez won second runner-up.

Will Gwendolyn Ruais, a Filipina beauty titleholder can win the crown for the very first time in the history? Watch out for this Filipina beauty, which symbolize the Filipino people as she showcase her talent in the upcoming Miss World 2011.
